Beyond the Boroughs Scholarship. Veteran Tutan Reyes established Beyond the Boroughs in 2007. He pledged to create a scholarship fund that compensates students in recognized colleges who are unable to pay for their education in order to provide young people a better future.
Beyond the Boroughs’ main goal is to not let the future leaders of society be held back by persisting financial issues. Beyond the Boroughs thrives on the challenge of giving kids assistance, funding, and mentoring.
Beyond the Boroughs is a public charity program that generates money and awards as many scholarships as it can each year. Beyond the Boroughs Scholarships up to $20,000 are given over four years by Beyond the Boroughs to full-time students who have been accepted to a recognized four-year college, university, or equivalent (such as a culinary school). Over $300,000 in scholarships have already been given out by Beyond the Boroughs.
Students currently enrolled in a college or university as well as current high school seniors who will be attending college in the autumn are eligible to apply. The higher education institution will receive a direct payment of the award. Anyone who satisfies the qualifications listed below is welcome to apply.

How to apply Beyond the Boroughs Scholarship
- Candidates must fill out the online scholarship application form by clicking the following link: http://www.beyondtheboroughs.org/the-scholarship/the-application/.
- Application in its entirety, together with a finished Student Aid Report from the FAFSA or the CSS Profile
- You will be contacted on sending supporting materials (a transcript, a copy of your FAFSA, and a letter of recommendation) if you are chosen as a finalist.
